Clipart Challenge!

Several fabulous clipartists and bloggers have come together for an amazing Clipart Challenge hosted by Primary Possibilities!  Each blogger is featuring a clipartist and a product they made using that artist's images!  This is a great way to discover new clipart creators for your summer creations.   So keep reading and following the linky at the bottom to head on to the next post!  You may even pick up some freebies along the way!

I signed up for this neat idea! Stephany at Primary Possibilities paired a product 'maker' with a clip artist! We could choose something from their store to make either a free or paid product with.

I was pretty pumped by the idea :)

I was paired with K is for Kinderiffic

She is just beginning in the world of clip art so she only has a few things...but I look forward to what she does next! Debbie has a few great freebies for you to test out and a nice looking alphabet set in colour and b&w. Go and visit her store. I chose her cute Bright Spring Flowers set - a steal at only $1!!!  And I made a cute matching game using the flowers laid out like dots on a dice face. Students can match the correct number to the amount of flowers pictured. Although its just a simple game, it practices many skills like counting, numeral identification, visualisation and subitising. It covers numbers 1 to 6.

I'm addicted...to clip art!

You know you're addicted if:
* You have half of your favourites lists dedicated to clip art sites
* You have so much that you don't have enough projects to put it all on
* Seeing a buy two get one free makes it all that much easier to buy some more
* You have an entire flash drive (or even portable hard drive?) dedicated to clip art
* You panic when your flash is not on your person because you dont know what you would do without your clip art stash - don't judge me, I had a hard time sleeping.

Now I have known this for quite a while that this is a small medium-sized large-ish problem. But its fun, not bad for my health and I am certainly not hurting anyone! Its fun and brings a smile to my face :)

Mel is just great! I was lucky enough to sign up to her Premium graphics club and a get a new set of graphics every work day delivered to my email. You can join up any time during the year! Well worth a look.

I have bought HEAPS from PrintCandee. She has some great sets with graphics and paper included.

Oh man....I am feeling the urge to shop....AGAIN!

Fun Fraction Freebie

Hi all,
What a Monday here in downtown Sydney town. The.weather.is.gross!!! I have had the heater running all day but it can't take the gloom away.


So what did the munchkins and I do?


Went swimming of course!


We went to the Sydney International Aquatic Centre where the Olympics were held. It has a pretty awesome water park We had a great time!





But anyway. As I was programming my maths for the term, I was looking for an interactive game for fractions. Not a lot that I found suitable. But then I found a pizza game on ABCya and made up some activity cards to go with it.

If you suffer from the same affliction go to Sassy Designs - they are having a sale all digital papers (like backgrounds) are 25c! Most sets have at least 9 papers. Needless to say the $4.50 I spent went a very very long way :)

Super Hero Word Wall FREEBIE

Do you love Etsy? I am a total addict at the moment. I love searching for new and cute things that I can drool over pin on Pinterest. But as I was looking for clip art, I stumbled on a very cute shop.

I actually wanted to buy some cute super hero clip art to make my son a birthday party invitation. I ended up with the whole set (oops!) and thought I would make some new stuff for my classroom.
