The things children give you...

Now I know we all get those notes and pictures from our lovely little students. Some of them dash one off during free play, other go home and write us stories. I warms my heart but I just don't have the ability to display them all (nor do I want to).

You have probably seen this idea floating around pinterest and blogs - Love notes.

Instead of sticking these little offerings from your kiddies EVERYWHERE, put them in a folder with some plastic sleeves and share them with the class!

I have made you a few that you can edit - add your own name to the front :) The file is a powerpoint file.

Click on the pic above to go and grab the file from Google Docs and show your kiddies that you really do appreciate their notes :)

And I would appreciate some love if you like it :)

I have linked this post up with Teach it with Class

  1. Too cute Brooke! I have been keeping mine in a file like this anyway but haven't had a cute cover page for it.

    1. Thanks Tania. Sometimes all the pieces of paper just drive me a bit crazy!

  2. I have limited wall space and cannot really hang the sweet notes from my students. I love the idea of putting them in a notebook and sharing them with the class. Cute idea!

  3. Definitely a great idea! I did it this year and it was so much better than having a big display of notes and pictures!

Thanks for the front page idea!

  5. Ooh a fab idea that I will definitely adopt this year! To be honest, in the past once I would run out of display room I would take any new notes home to throw them out! I would hate to think that one of the kids would find their precious love note to me in the paper bin in the classroom! This is a much nicer idea!

  7. Thank you so much! I am in Australia and we are about to go back to school in a weeks time with our new group of students. I had this on my to-do list so I was super excited to find that you have created the cover for me! Haha thanks so much - I always feel bad that their pictures 'go missing' lol

  11. Great idea, thanks Brooke. I had an awful experience last year when one of my students found his drawing from the previous day in the bin! Oops. And I thought I was being careful by putting it in the bin in my office! I will definitely be using the notebook idea this year with my year twos.
